Supply Planning Manager
GISOU WANTS YOU!
ABOUT US:
Gisou is born out of a passion for bees and haircare, based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, our products are inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden.
At Gisou we are on a mission to share our HONEY GLOW. As a rapidly growing scale-up, we're dedicated to crafting iconic beauty products, and building a world-class team to drive our vision and brand forward. We are talent obsessed and deeply believe that the raw skills of our people, and their collective brilliance is what makes us truly extraordinary!
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Supply Planning Manager at Gisou, you will own the end-to-end supply planning agenda across production, materials and distribution, ensuring the right products are available in the right place and at the right time while balancing service, inventory, cost and waste. This is a role for a high-performing, hands-on planner who can operate comfortably from SKU and component-level detail through to cross-functional decision making. You will help build scalable planning processes, tools, datasets and operating drumbeats from the ground up, translating demand into executable supply plans and proactively resolving constraints across our external manufacturing and logistics network.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Owning the end-to-end supply planning process across production, materials and distribution, translating the demand plan into synchronized supply, inventory and deployment plans across the network.
• Ensuring product availability and service by proactively identifying supply risks, shortages and constraints, developing recovery scenarios and driving actions with internal teams, manufacturers, suppliers and logistics partners.
• Building and continuously improving production planning routines across third-party manufacturers, including capacity alignment, production priorities, schedule adherence and conformance to plan.
• Owning materials planning requirements across finished goods components and packaging, ensuring material availability supports production plans while minimizing excess, obsolescence and avoidable working capital.
• Building allocation, distribution and deployment planning across the warehouse network, positioning inventory against market and channel demand while balancing service requirements, lead times and inventory efficiency.
• Driving inventory health and optimization across the network, defining appropriate targets and policies, monitoring coverage and slow-moving stock, and taking proactive actions to balance availability with working capital.
• Owning waste and obsolescence management from a planning perspective, identifying exposure early, understanding root causes and partnering cross-functionally on mitigation actions including reallocation, consumption plans and lifecycle decisions.
• Establishing and managing supply planning KPIs and performance routines covering availability, service, inventory, waste, production adherence, material availability and plan stability, with clear root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Creating and continuously improving the supply planning toolset and analytical infrastructure, including planning models, datasets, dashboards, master-data structures, parameters and clear sources of truth.
• Leading the supply review within the S&OP process, translating constraints, inventory projections, capacity gaps and scenarios into clear business choices and decision-oriented recommendations.
• Partnering closely with Demand Planning, Commercial, Finance, Product Development, Procurement, Operations and Logistics to align priorities and ensure short-term execution decisions remain consistent with medium- and long-term business needs.
• Deep-diving into supply exceptions at SKU, component, factory and warehouse level, understanding what changed and why, and converting recurring issues into stronger planning rules, processes and preventive actions.
• Supporting new product launches, transitions and phase-in / phase-out planning by coordinating production, materials and distribution requirements and managing inventory and obsolescence risks through the product lifecycle.
• Acting as a hands-on builder and change agent: creating practical planning processes where they do not yet exist, documenting standards, embedding disciplined operating drumbeats and continuously raising the maturity of the supply planning function.
WHO YOU ARE:
We are seeking a high-performing supply planning professional who possesses:
• 4–6 years of relevant Supply Planning experience covering production, materials and/or distribution planning, ideally within a fast-growing consumer, beauty, FMCG, retail or comparable multi-channel environment.
• Strong end-to-end planning capability and the ability to connect demand requirements with production capacity, material availability, inventory positioning and distribution needs.
• A proven track record of managing availability and service while optimizing inventory levels and reducing excess, obsolete stock and waste.
• Hands-on experience with production planning and external manufacturing environments, including capacity constraints, production priorities, lead times, schedule adherence and short-term recovery planning.
• Strong understanding of materials planning, including component requirements, lead times, safety stocks, purchase-order dependencies and the impact of material shortages on production continuity.
• Experience with distribution / deployment planning across multiple warehouses or markets, with a strong understanding of inventory allocation, replenishment and network trade-offs.
• A builder mindset and demonstrated ability to create or significantly improve planning tools, models, datasets, dashboards, processes and recurring operating drumbeats rather than relying only on established systems.
• Exceptional analytical capability and attention to detail, with the willingness to deep dive into SKU-, component-, factory and warehouse-level data to understand root causes and drive resolution.
• Strong understanding of supply planning KPIs including availability, service level, inventory coverage, excess and obsoleteinventory, waste, production adherence and material availability.
• Advanced Excel and data-management skills; experience with BI tools and supply planning / S&OP systems is strongly preferred. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP environments is an advantage.
• Strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively, escalate risks clearly and translate complex supply situations into practical business decisions.
• An execution-oriented, proactive working style with high ownership, comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple priorities and driving issues through to closure without waiting for perfect information.
• The ability to balance immediate service and execution needs with longer-term inventory, capacity and capability building, making thoughtful trade-offs rather than optimizing one metric in isolation.
• Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in an international, entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving environment.
