ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Payroll & Reward Manager will lead and deliver our global payroll for employees in the Netherlands, US, UK, and via an Employer of Record (EOR), ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. The role also drives our global approach to Reward & Benefits at a strategic and operational level ensuring an evolving, fair and competitive total reward offer for our growing teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Payroll Management:
Accountable for leading and orchestrating end-to-end payroll processes for all employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.
Collaborate with EOR providers to manage payroll for employees in additional locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements in each jurisdiction.
Partner with finance, HR, and external vendors for accurate payroll reporting and reconciliations.
Manage payroll audits, reporting, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Handle payroll-related queries from employees, providing clear and timely resolutions.
Administer joiners, movers, leavers and other payroll data in Hi Bob.
Reward & Compensation Strategy:
Establish and lead our very first Remuneration Committee, setting the foundation for strategic Reward decisions.
Develop and implement reward strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring competitiveness in the global market.
Conduct job evaluation and benchmark compensation across all locations.
Drive salary reviews, ensuring alignment with industry standards and internal equity.
Design and maintain incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, and long-term incentives.
Benefits Management:
Oversee global benefits programs, ensuring alignment with market practices and company strategy.
Lead annual renewals and provider negotiations, including cost analysis and recommendations.
Deliver annual open enrolment and manage day-to-day benefits administration.
Act as the primary contact for employee benefits queries.
Maintain accurate benefits documentation, policies and employee communications.
WHAT YOU BRING:
Extensive experience in multinational payroll management, including shadow payroll, and EOR models.
Strong proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
In-depth understanding of global payroll compliance, tax laws, employment regulations, and equity-based compensation in NL, US, and UK.
Ability to analyze payroll data, ensure accuracy, and identify process improvements.
Proven experience in reward strategy and implementation, including job evaluation, benchmarking, compensation frameworks, and benefits design
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate payroll and reward-related matters clearly.
High level of accuracy in payroll processing, reward implementation, and reporting.
Ability to troubleshoot payroll discrepancies, resolve employee concerns, and optimize reward strategies effectively.
