ABOUT THE ROLE:
At Gisou, we’re on a mission to share the Honey Glow with the world. As our Paid Social Manager, you will shape and execute a global paid media strategy that drives growth across Direct-to-Consumer and retail partners like Sephora, while ensuring our efforts remain rooted in brand values.
You’ll be responsible for managing paid social campaigns, enhancing media’s role in amplifying earned and owned social content, and integrating efforts across Affiliate, Influencer, and comms. With a balance of performance marketing expertise and brand sensitivity, you’ll help us scale sustainably and bring the Gisou story to more people, everywhere.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Paid Social Strategy & Execution
- Own end-to-end paid social campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.), driving both performance and long-term brand equity.
- Continuously refine strategies (audience, creative, market-specific optimization) to sustain healthy performance indicators across all markets.
- Support the growth of Gisou.com, Amazon US and TikTOk Shop channels through coordinated media planning.
- Distribute budgets effectively across channels and markets to achieve consistent YoY growth.
- Build transparent reporting systems that provide full visibility into traffic and revenue sources from paid social channels
- Deliver actionable insights to optimize spend, balance traffic-driving vs. performance goals, and inform paid social strategy.
Affiliate Relaunch & Integration
- Relaunch the affiliate program with the right platform for scalability and alignment with performance objectives and brand values.
- Develop an integrated way of working across Affiliate, Influencer, PR, and Paid to maximize ROI and efficiency.
Earned & Owned Media Amplification
- Enhance media’s role in supporting earned (EMV, views) and owned (follower growth, views)
- Implement a structured approach to boosting influencer and owned content with clear selection criteria, targeting strategies, and performance evaluation.
Testing & Innovation
- Proactively test new platforms, ad formats, and audience strategies to keep Gisou at the forefront of digital and social media.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner closely with Social, Creative, Digital, Influencer, and comms teams to deliver fully integrated, impactful campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years’ experience in Paid Social management (brand or agency), ideally within beauty, fashion, or consumer lifestyle.
- Proven success in balancing performance marketing with brand-building.
- Strong analytical mindset, confident with reporting, attribution, and budget allocation.
- Experience with affiliate marketing platforms and strategies is a plus.
- Social-first creative thinker, attuned to emerging trends, platforms, and content.
- Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in cross-functional environments.
- Passion for beauty, digital culture, and building global brands.
