About the Role:
We’re looking for a performance-focused D2C ECommerce Manager with deep Shopify expertise to lead the day-to-day trading of our online D2C store. You'll be at the forefront of driving revenue, owning the customer journey, and using data to inform smart, agile trading decisions. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving D2C environment and knows how to turn site traffic into sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Trading
- Own daily, weekly, and monthly trading of the Shopify site to maximise sales, AOV, and margin.
- Plan and manage the ecommerce trading calendar — product drops, campaigns, promotions, and sales cycles.
- Lead site merchandising, always–on conversion optimization, homepage updates, and user experience improvements
- Monitor stock and product performance; react quickly to trends and inventory availability.
Conversion & Performance
- Track key ecommerce metrics (sales, CVR, AOV, CLTV) and use insights to optimise performance and forecast
- Identify friction points in the customer journey and lead CRO initiatives (e.g., landing pages, checkout optimisation).
- Run and evaluate A/B tests to improve conversion and engagement.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Own trading reports using Shopify analytics & GA4
- Present weekly trade insights and actionable plans to leadership and teams
- Collaborate with finance and ops to forecast demand and secure stock planning with trading activity.
Campaign Execution
- Align with creative, CRM, paid media teams to coordinate launches and marketing activations
- Work with creative/content to brief and deploy compelling PDP content, banners, and UX assets.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3–5+ years of experience in ecommerce trading, ideally in a DTC or digitally-native brand.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth via onsite trading and CRO.
- Strong hands-on Shopify experience — confident managing backend, apps, themes, and analytics.
- Commercially and profitability minded with an instinct for what sells and how to present it.
- Analytical; comfortable with data, detailed reporting and with a strong understanding of all ecommerce KPIs
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple fast-paced launches.
- A customer-first mentality with an eye for UX, design, and product storytelling.
Bonus Points For:
- Background in fashion, beauty, wellness, or other fast-moving consumer categories.
- Experience working in high-growth startups or scaling DTC business
