ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our Legal Intern, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance team and gain hands-on experience in an international scale-up environment. From organising and managing contracts to reviewing legal documents, this role offers the chance to support the daily legal operations of a fast-paced beauty brand. You’ll work cross-functionally, supporting business teams with legal insight and helping ensure that Gisou continues to operate smoothly, ethically, and in line with the latest regulations.

• Assist with organising, filing, and implementing contracts within our contract management system
• Provide day-to-day support to the Legal team on a variety of administrative and legal matters
• Review and draft basic legal documents such as NDAs, vendor agreements, and other standard contracts
• Research and track legal and regulatory updates that impact our operations globally
• Support in improving internal processes and templates
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure legal compliance and best practices are followed

WHO YOU ARE:

• You are currently enrolled in an WO Law program (e.g. Bachelor or Master in Law, Legal Management, or related)
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Dutch
• You have a proactive, detail-oriented, and structured approach to your work
• You enjoy working independently and taking ownership of your tasks
• You are curious, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions
• You are comfortable handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion

REQUIREMENTS:

• Available to start from Monday August 4th 2025 or as soon as possible - to agree upon. 
  
• You must be a WO student and are looking for a full time onsite internship for at least 6 months.
• You must be in the possession of a BSN.
• You must have an Internship contract from your school and internship is part of your program.
• Available for 5 days per week, from which 4 days on-site in Amsterdam office.
• Speaks both Dutch and English
