ABOUT THE ROLE:
As our North America Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening Gisou’s presence across retail channels in North America. You will be responsible for executing innovative and brand-right trade marketing campaigns, supporting sell-through, and ensuring consistent brand visibility at every touchpoint. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, creative, digital, and product teams, and report to the Sales Director, North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with strategy development across each channel of distribution, understanding the nuances in consumer behavior for each retailer and working closely with the sales/marketing team to execute 360 activations
- Ensure that all planograms and artwork are flawlessly executed and timely
- Improve overall creative artwork process to ensure accuracy in assortment, graphic layout, copy, and timelines
- Ensure stock availability for promotional programs: core-sampling, event TOAs, SFKs, etc.
- Execute retail marketing plans in line with overall brand strategy and sales targets.
- Owner of Go To Market timelines for retailer needs, including NPD and any retailer projects
- Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of trade assets.
- Analyze performance of activations and promotions, providing actionable insights to improve future campaigns.
- Execute VM updates from planning to execution, ensuring all standards are upheld and achieve best in class presentation. Coordinate with internal NA teams, merchants, fixture company and creative teams to ensure deliverables are on time, on brief and within budget.
- Kickoff and manage any special retailer projects across the region such as in store animated space (animations/towers), store takeover events, visual merchandising projects (FOS, BOTF), etc.
- Manage and maintain all sales team documents including sku creation/maintenance, sku data, assortment documents, launch calendars, and exposure tracking. Track competitive launch and campaign activities, presenting key insights.
- Own NPF set up for launches, working cross functionally to get all necessary information on time.
- Responsible for all calendar management
- Conduct in-store visits as needed to understand ongoing and evolving retail needs, activations, and competitive landscape
- Complete competitive product and pricing analysis for new product launches and recommend RRP’s with rationale. Partner with finance on Canadian RRP recommendations. Own value set calculations.
- Propose yearly sampling cadence to support newness and core products. Manage retail sampling execution including pitching, budgeting, PO management, forecasting, and SFK kit management.
- Partner with the NA team on all retailer meetings, including scheduling, recaps, gratis, food/beverage, and set up/clean up, etc
- Oversee comp collection and organization: ordering comps, organizing comps, and owning them when requested for retailers/partners
- Manage monthly NA Sales Team invoicing & tracking

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or a similar role—preferably within the beauty or consumer goods industry.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience working with global retailers and coordinating across markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus.
