ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an account payable specialist to perform daily accounting activities. We offer a broad role that offers a degree of independence and requires cooperation. As a Account Payable specialist, it is important that you are focused on the details and work meticulously. You will report to the Finance director and work really closely with the Finance Administrator and the financial accountant.

Job Description: 

• Managing Accounts Payable mailbox.
• Timely processing of accounts payable invoices in the accounting system.
• Contact person for both internal and external queries about invoices.
• Preparation of weekly/monthly Accounts Payable reports.
• In charge of AP aging.
• Responsible for month-end reconciliation like bank accounts, credit card…
• Process intercompany bookings.
• Contact person for expense reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve the AP processes.
• Support every new financial project.
• Handling of sensitive/confidential information.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MBO degree in Finance and administration
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Eye for detail and accuracy are imperative
• Possesses excellent organisational skills and follow through
• Problem-solving comes naturally to you
• Automatization mindset
• Excellent MS Office and Excel
• Experience with Netsuite is a plus
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English both oral and written.
