We’re now looking for a Senior CMI Manager to join our hive, someone who thrives on connecting the dots between data and storytelling, and who wants to play a key role in shaping insight-driven decisions across the business.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Senior CMI Manager, you’ll be the expert across Gisou for all things consumer and marketing insights, and a go to person for finding and telling the stories hidden in our data.
This role is perfect for someone who loves going deep into data, building insights from scratch, and partnering across teams to bring them to life. While you will collaborate across Marketing, Product, E-commerce and Growth, this is an individual contributor role with high impact and autonomy.
YOU WILL...
Mine the data, shape the insight
- Analyse and interpret consumer behavior using data from performance media, D2C (Shopify), Amazon, CRM (klaviyo), social listening (BrandWatch), customer service (Gorgias) - identifying consumer and sales trends and community sentiments & NPD opportunities.
- Develop clear, actionable insights to inform D2C trading calendar, brand strategy, campaign development, content performance, and new product decisions.
- Lead ad-hoc research projects using internal and platform-level data, creating powerful consumer narratives that shape decisions.
Own the insights function
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track brand, consumer, and content performance across platforms.
- Identify and monitor key metrics across the full consumer journey – from awareness to conversion to loyalty.
- Create self-serve tools and insights resources for internal teams, empowering data-informed decision making.
Connect the dots & Collaborate
- Work closely with media, comms, marketing, E-commerce, CRM and Amazon teams to understand their objectives, performance questions and deliver tailored and actionable insights.
- Present clear, visual, and impactful reports to stakeholders – connecting the dots between consumer behavior and business results and needed strategy.
- Be the go-to internal expert on how our consumers think, feel, and act.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A naturally curious and analytical thinker with a passion for digging deep into data to uncover actionable consumer and marketing insights.
- Proven experience translating complex data into compelling narratives that influence strategy across brand, content, and product.
- A confident individual contributor who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and enjoys high levels of autonomy and impact.
- Skilled in working with data platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Klaviyo, BrandWatch, and Gorgias – with a strong grasp of the full consumer journey from awareness to loyalty.
- Comfortable building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and self-serve insight tools to empower teams with data.
- A strong communicator who can connect the dots, collaborate across departments, and bring the voice of the consumer to life through clear, visual storytelling.
