Gisou is born out of a passion for bees, haircare and natural beauty. Based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, each Gisou product is inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden. With this method, our founder Negin and her father continue the family tradition of beekeeping. Our hair care and complexion products harness the transformative benefits of Mirsalehi Honey and rich botanical sources, selected to enhance ones natural beauty.

We are committed to a bee-friendly & sustainable production method that puts the Mirsalehi Honey Bees first, not only for the sake of the bees, but the greater ecosystem as well. In the upcoming years, we intend to continue to develop high-quality honey infused beauty products as we develop a globally renowned label and raise awareness about the importance of a healthy bee population.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Accessories Merch Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and on-brand accessory designs, covering both hard and soft goods. With a strong foundation in accessories and textile design, you will lead the development process for various products, collaborating closely with the creative teams to bring our accessories to life. You will manage the technical aspects of accessory design, including preparing detailed tech packs for vendors and utilizing 3D design tools to elevate our design process.

• Design Development: Lead the design and development of accessories, including both hard (e.g., hardware, jewelry) and soft goods (e.g., scarves, hats, bags), ensuring cohesive style, functionality, and brand alignment across all products.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical skills in accessories and textile design to develop detailed, high-quality designs that meet brand standards and manufacturing feasibility.
• Hardware Design: Conceptualize and execute hardware elements for accessories, such as clasps, buckles, and other functional details, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability.
• Tech Pack Management: Prepare and hand over comprehensive tech packs to vendors, including specifications, measurements, material selections, and detailed instructions, facilitating smooth and accurate production processes.
• 3D Design Utilization: Leverage 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Rhino) to create virtual prototypes, enhance design visualization, and optimize the sampling process. Experience in 3D design is a plus but not mandatory.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accessories design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both hard and soft accessory designs.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of the accessory design process, including material selection, construction techniques, and hardware design.
• Experience in preparing tech packs and communicating with overseas vendors.
• Knowledge of 3D design software (e.g., Clo3D, Rhino) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
