Gisou is born out of a passion for bees, haircare and natural beauty. Based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, each Gisou product is inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden. With this method, our founder Negin and her father continue the family tradition of beekeeping. Our hair care and complexion products harness the transformative benefits of Mirsalehi Honey and rich botanical sources, selected to enhance ones natural beauty.

We are committed to a bee-friendly & sustainable production method that puts the Mirsalehi Honey Bees first, not only for the sake of the bees, but the greater ecosystem as well. In the upcoming years, we intend to continue to develop high-quality honey infused beauty products as we develop a globally renowned label and raise awareness about the importance of a healthy bee population.

We have been experiencing double digital growth YoY and have established ourselves as a leading hair care line across our global retailers such as Sephora, Selfridges, Mecca, and Harrods. We are currently available in over 40 countries and are on an explosive journey of growth as we launch in new markets, open additional channels and focus on building our team internationally.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Gisou, exciting times are ahead. As a fast-growing company we are ready to take on more projects that we are very enthusiastic about. To make those projects happen, we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Digital Design Intern that will assist our Digital Design Team. In this role, you will be assisting on designing a wide variety of digital assets in close collaboration with online and creative specialists. 

• Creation of digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, eCommerce, websites, mobile apps, etc.)
• Creation of website assets such as hero banners and landing page designs
• Creation of email designs for CRM programs
• Creation and execution of concepts for digital advertising
• Testing of assets and optimizing them based on their performance
• Iteration of new designs based on user feedback
• Translation of ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Research industry trends to keep up with ever ongoing digital innovation

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You are following a Graphic / Creative / Digital Media Design study
• You must have an Internship contract from your School / University and the Internship must be integrated into your programme of study.
• Knowledge of standard (digital) design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, also Figma or Sketch would be a plus
• Personal interest in the digital design thinking process
• Knowledge of, or personal interest for current digital design best practices and web production techniques is a plus
• Photo and video editing skills
• Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

ELIGIBILITY:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute in the Netherlands
• You must be in the possession of a BSN
• You must have an Internship contract from your school and internship is part of your program.
• You are looking for a full-time onsite internship for at least 5 months
• You speak and write fluent English
• You must be in the possession of at a Student Ov travelcard/ or chipcard
• Start Date February 2025
