Gisou is born out of a passion for bees, haircare and natural beauty. Based on a six-generation beekeeping heritage, each Gisou product is inspired by and made with the finest, sustainably sourced ingredients from our very own Mirsalehi Bee Garden. With this method, our founder Negin and her father continue the family tradition of beekeeping. Our hair care and complexion products harness the transformative benefits of Mirsalehi Honey and rich botanical sources, selected to enhance ones natural beauty.
We are committed to a bee-friendly & sustainable production method that puts the Mirsalehi Honey Bees first, not only for the sake of the bees, but the greater ecosystem as well. In the upcoming years, we intend to continue to develop high-quality honey infused beauty products as we develop a globally renowned label and raise awareness about the importance of a healthy bee population.
We have been experiencing double digital growth YoY and have established ourselves as a leading hair care line across our global retailers such as Sephora, Selfridges, Mecca, and Harrods. We are currently available in over 40 countries and are on an explosive journey of growth as we launch in new markets, open additional channels and focus on building our team internationally.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Head of Press and Influencer at Gisou you will support the Communications Director to develop and execute a best-in-class influencer marketing strategy across our priority markets globally in order to boost Gisou’s market share and brand awareness around the globe. This is a pivotal role at Gisou, creating a true centre of excellence within the communications space across Influencer marketing and press.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
Partner closely with the Communications Director to develop and implement an Influencer Marketing Strategy, with the ultimate goal of increasing brand awareness, commercial growth & brand equity
Lead a team of 3 people
Support growth in Gisou’s priority markets by creating ultra-creative strategies, growing advocacy by market with qualitative and quantitative target audiences, supporting our retail partners and owned channels
Lead the development and execution of best-in-class events and activations, partnerships (brand and people) and gifting
Leverage data and insights from our platform partners to ensure we are constantly progressing our strategy to maximise reach with new and target audiences and consumers
Work cross-functionally with the Creative, Marketing, Social, Digital and Trade teams on launches and activations to ensure flawless execution
Develop the affiliate program with the E-Commerce team
Manage influencer partnerships including sponsored content, partnership programs, brand endorsements and digital/social promotions
Alongside the creative, social team, and marketing Teams develop campaigns grounded in a strategic approach by gathering audience, market and business insights, using a variety of tools & social insights platforms
Develop ambitiousKPI frameworks that meet business goals
Develop budget definition and responsibly manage and control associated costs and resources
Work with our agency partners to drive exceptional results
WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Over 10 years of experience in communication, ideally in the beauty or fashion industry
Strong cross-functional coordination and leadership skills
Deep understanding of 18-40 audience
Familiarity with the latest community management, influencer strategies and tactics
Ability to lead and operate in an entrepreneurial environment that can be fast-paced, dynamic and demanding
Experience using influencer marketing measurement and reporting tools (Tribe Dynamics, Dash Hudson)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Highly detailed with strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficient computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. English proficiency is mandatory
The ability to think big picture, but also drill down to the details, planning, facilitation, problem analysis/solving, decision making, solution-oriented
The ability to be creative, business savvy, innovative, intuitive, and open-minded
